The Doppler ultrasonic flow meter is a main unit that collects flow velocity, water level, and temperature data from the Doppler ultrasonic flow meter via RS485 and inputs various channel parameters based on the actual site conditions.
The water flow area S (m²) is calculated from the channel parameters and the measured water level H (m), and the instantaneous flow rate (Q = V × S) is obtained by multiplying the water flow area by the flow velocity V (m/s).
The cumulative flow rate is calculated by multiplying the instantaneous flow rate by the cumulative time.
Therefore:
Q = V × S
Instantaneous flow rate × time difference = cumulative flow rate.
